THE FIRST STRIDES PROGRAM

  • ​Children are bused to the Printscape Arena at Southpointe
  • Private tour of the ice rink and facility
  • Dress for hockey in full equipment
  • Hit ice where they are broken in three groups based on skill level
  • Learn to ice skate and other hockey specific drills
  • Instruction is provided by top local coaches and athletes from Wheeling Nailers
  • Group photo on the ice at the end of the session
  • Each child receives a packet with items such as free public skating passes, discounted tickets to a Wheeling Nailers hockey game and more!
