This instructional league is for the hockey player who wants to develop their skating and hockey skills and play in competitive games without the same financial and time commitment as amateur hockey. This league is designed to improve player skills and then utilize these skills in game situations.
Players must be between the ages of 6-11 years old at the time of registration, and have completed the Mini Mite program, Hockey 201 program, or another rink’s equivalent program in order to participate. The league consists of one practice a week and games on Saturday afternoons.
The league will commence with player evaluation “tryouts” during the practice slot where players will be appropriately split into fair, competitive teams for the duration of the league. Throughout the season, instructor will continue re-evaluate the players and adjust the teams accordingly.
Players will receive a reversible hockey jersey that is included in the price of the league. Our knowledgeable and trained instructors are certain that your child will have a great time while learning the greatest game on earth in a fun and relaxed environment.
